We have decided to give you guys a little treat for being such great customers and throw a yard art sale through the 6th of June! That includes all statues, fountains, and pottery. All sales are final! Come and get some goodies!!!
Spring and Fall tend to be our busiest times of the year. When we’re at peak season we unfortunately are unable to make deliveries of any kind, dirt or plants. When that is the case, or someone lives out of our delivery area we like to direct customers to a handful of our employees that offer that service in their free time. Their businesses are completely separate from ours but when we can’t fulfill someone’s needs we like to make sure they are still put into good hands to get the help they need. If you are in need of such things please feel free to contact the people below.
It’s that time again! The whole month of August everything except for bulk soil will be 20% off! That means plants, fertilizers, pots, statues, fountains, anything and everything will be a steal. It will all be 20% off of the marked price. So, if there is anything you’ve been eyeing you better come and get it before it’s gone!
The Strong’s Team
There are no returns or guarantees for anything purchased during the sale.
We have resumed doing soil deliveries in certain zip codes (please refer to our services page) but we are still not offering the planting and guarantee at this time.
We hope spring is treating you well! Due to being so busy at the nursery we are currently not offering deliveries of any kind as well as our planting and guarantee. Unfortunately we just don’t have enough staff to accommodate such needs. We will let you know when they will become available again. On a side note, if you need a small delivery we do have some staff members who will possibly do such a thing for you during their free time on the side. If you would like their contact information we normally have business cards at the front desk.
In compliance with Dallas County Ordinance masks are REQUIRED. This applies indoors as well as outdoors along with social distancing. While these measures have been appreciated throughout and up to this point, we ask for your total cooperation especially during the sale as we anticipate a large turnout.
Here are some guidelines to help things go a little smoother for you on sale day.
HOW IT WORKS:
Help yourself to a cart and fill it with your selection.
If an item is too large, take the long white price tag off and replace it with a hold tag.
When ready to check out, take your cart and or tags to one of our sales staff by the canopy. They will write you a ticket.
Follow the signs to checkout.
Once everything has been paid for, if you need assistance loading, staff will be available to help.
ALL PURCHASED ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY BY 5PM ON SUNDAY 7/12/20.
We are closely monitoring news of the COVID-19 outbreak and adhering to CDC recommendations. During this unprecedented time, Strong’s Nursery will remain open to customers due to us being considered an essential business. Our staff will be sensitive to the social distancing guidelines while helping our guests in our open air nursery space.
We have increased our cleaning and sanitizing practices and are providing hand sanitizer at every register.
In compliance with the Dallas County ordinance, we ask that you please help us keep everyone safe and abide by the six feet apart social distancing rule as well as wear a mask while on the property.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact us either via email or call us at (972)242-7574.
The Dirt Doctor is Coming to Strong's Nursery Saturday, March 14th 2020
Strong’s Nursery is pleased to announce that the nationally syndicated talk show host and author, Howard Garret, will be at our nursery to share his organic gardening knowledge and landscape program with our valued customers on Saturday, March 14th. He will be answering questions and signing copies of his books. You can bring your own cherished copy or buy one at the garden center.
Even though it’s only January Strong’s is already thinking about spring! We are busy growing our annual color and we are so excited to share all of our favorites, new and old, with you as soon they’re ready.
Everyone here at the nursery is working hard to make sure were in tip top shape. The greenhouses are getting an update after a very windy winter, and we are experimenting with some new rain resistant signage.
We will even be hosting a special guest in March! Stay tuned to find out more.
